About Me
Welcome!
My name is Anna and I'm a licensed officiant through Humanist Canada, registered to perform marriages anywhere in the province of Ontario. I'm also trained in offering other non-religious ceremonies to mark life's big moments — the happy ones, the hard ones, and the bittersweet in-betweens.​
I’ve spent the past decade designing and facilitating meaningful events, workshops, and celebrations for audiences of all kinds, through my personal, professional, and academic life. I have a knack for making things feel special, and I’m passionate about creating experiences that move and connect us.
​By day, I work in the municipal water sector, supporting sustainable infrastructure solutions and the protection of water resources. I delight in the whimsy of nature and what it has to teach us about life, death, and the beauty of it all.​
As the daughter of a retired teacher and a social worker, I was raised in a home where curiosity and compassion shaped how we understood the world. That’s how I approach ceremony: with genuine interest in your story and a commitment to telling it with care.

Most of the photos on my site were taken by me with my film camera, and the rest have been taken by my very talented friends.
